Why This Rocks: I’ve always said the best metalcore bands have the best clean vocals.  Meet A Past Unknown, a brilliant up and coming band from the quickly developing Iowa music scene.  Iowa has been producing a lot of epic music and these guys are case in point, they do the genre justice with their berating barrage of power-packed musical punches.  Unlike hardcore, if you’re gonna do metalcore then you better have more than an awesome howler, your vocalist has gotta be able to keep up with the likes of Danny Worsnop and Craig Mabbit of Asking Alexandria and Escape the fate respectively. These guys can do just that.  Get familiar with their brand of metal, fans of this type of music have been missing out on A Past Unknown for too long already. -TMB
